Mother's Day in Atlanta

For Mother's Day Rob took us to Atlanta. We stayed at the Omni hotel downtown and walked to all kinds of fun things. We went to the Georgia Aquarium and had such a wonderful time. We loved it. Then we went on the Inside CNN tour. We saw Fredericka doing her thing on the weekend show. Then we went and played in the Olympic park. The kids played in the fountains. After going straight to the fountain and standing directly over one it sprayed them in the face. Kaleigh was shocked and upset, but that's what happens when you stand DIRECTLY OVER THE SPOUT:). We played a little football in the park later. We had some yummy food, but of course anything is yummy when I don't have to cook and clean. Both nights they brought us cookies and milk. Yum, yum. Saturday night Rob watched Cypress Hill from the hotel window, nothing like a free concert. For those of you who don't know Cypress Hill, mom, it's a rap group:) Anyway, we had the very best time and it was by far the very best Mother's Day ever! Thank you Rob! Beware, lots of pictures.
Gotta love cookies and milk before bed. I think they loved that lady who brought them every night more than anything else.

Hey there. Our little munchkin.
Daddy loves those ears.
WHALE SHARK!
Duduh, duduh... oh that's Jaws.
This is a 6 million gallon tank. Big!! Look at the whale shark!

Perspective picture. I'm as tall as the rocks:) This tank is 23 feet tall and 61 feet wide and 2 feet thick. It's amazing.
Touching sea annenomes.
Beluga whales are actually pretty interactive. He kept coming over to say hi.
Touching the rays.

Cool, shrimp!
Hmm. Guess I forgot to turn this one, sorry. This is right before one of the shrimp jumped and scared Kaden to death.... yes, I did laugh. Kaden jumped back, it was funny!
There's our Captain and mates

Who's in charge exactly??

One of the cool kid bubbles to look into.
You ARE having fun! Better act like it....
We did actually get a family photo thanks to a stranger.
Where's Waldo? I mean the Mackeys?

The longest/tallest free standing escalator in the world leading up to the CNN tour. We just had to go up into "the world."
The only picture we could take on the CNN tour.... right before we went in they have these cool cylinder tv's all about Ted Turner. Wohoo!
Oh yeah!

This is Kaden coming to tell us he's wet! Really, he came to us and said, "I'm wet!" No?!

The Omni hotel where we stayed. We actually stayed at the one on the left that's attached to CNN.

A couple of the torches at the Centennial Olympic Park.
The kids watching the fountain show.

Our Mother's Day dinner at Don Pablo's. MMM, all I remember is the yummy margarita:)
