We support our troops!

Last year we had a student at my school whose dad was called to serve in Iraq. After about 8 months over there he was shot in the neck by a sniper. It was very touch and go for awhile, but after a few good hospital stays he finally made it home yesterday. The kids and I went to the airport to welcome him home. It was great to see that a lot of other people had the same idea (including 3 tv stations and the mayor). As soon as his family saw him coming down and through security everyone started cheering. The kids were waving flags and cheering. I think it was a great experience for them to see how to support our troops!!! Thank God he's home and going to live a long life with his family.
