This was an interesting week for the Mackey Family....
Kaden told Daddy that a friend of a friend told him that Santa doesn't exist. AND, that the parents are who put the presents out. How absurd! Can you believe that in the 1st grade they are already discussing this?
Kaleigh came home saying she has a costume/pizza party on Friday.
That's right, oh boy! I say.
And I get beer.
Beer?
Yes, I get beer.
Are you sure about that?
Yes!
Baby, beer is for grown ups.
Well, I get some.
No, maybe you get root beer.
No, I get beer. Now she's starting to get upset.
Don't get upset, I'm sure it's just a misunderstanding. I'll email your teacher. I'm trying to contain my laughter b/c this is too much for my kindergardener.... So, I email her and she gets kind of scared, I think, and says how she's never had a beer in her life. Is that possible? NEVER? Anyway, Rie did have root beer.:)
Christian is now doing sit-ups with Daddy. I haven't snapped a pic of it yet, but hopefully will soon. She stands up, then bends over with her head on the floor. Then, she will lift her head and shoulders up with her hands. Up, down, up down. Cute!
