our airplane ride and swimming

Who doesn't love today's technology?? I do, I do! Our flight to Atlanta was quick and painless. The trip to Tampa was longer and not so painless. Had to resort to good 'ol Nemo and Shaggy Dog. We were THE VERY LAST ROW on that plane. You know, those people you think, "man I'm so glad I don't have to sit there." Yep, that was us! But the kids were pretty good until their ears started hurting. But, we had the laptop going with Finding Nemo and the Ipod player going with Shaggy Dog. We were set and ready for a fun vacation!

While we're here we're staying with the Radigans. Our adopted grandparents for the kids. Who couldn't use another set? Rob grew up, from late middle school and on, across the street from them. He's called them Mom and Dad and so have we ever since. We're having a great time hanging out at the pool on the canal wondering why we left Florida.

WAIT! I remember why we left Florida.... Today as we left the aquarium there was a long line of traffic. It was kind of a weird place for it so we waited. As we went by we saw an old man on his wheelchair/scooter thing. He was driving that thing on the road in a lane. No! I'm not kidding. He was driving it like a car. It's not a car!! Hello! Those things you see in the store, those are not meant for road use. Much less on a busy street. I tried to get my camera out, but I couldn't get it in time. I was so bummed b/c of that. What a picture opportunity missed:(
