i can't remember the last time i've been roller skating. so i tried to walk with the girls while they learned to skate. there was no way christian was going to get it, but she loved it and i loved those little bitty skates. rie took some time, but once she got the hang of it on the carpet then she did better on the "wet, slippery floor" as she called it. kade picked it up faster and had a pretty good time, too. nana did try to roller skate with rie... unfortunately, some random kid (no matter what she says it WASN'T us:)) started to fall and pulled her down. she got some pretty nasty bruises and decided to call it quits. poor nana.
note to self: don't wear flip flops when teaching someone to roller skate
rie finally got the nerve up to go on the "wet" floor. she has on the pink top and white shorts. she was in line for the limbo.
