last night as a one year old

after kaden and rie left for school we played with our new toys and games. and, we went pee in the potty TWICE! yippee. today is THE day we're going to master the potty. big girl underwear is the way to go:)
well, i realized i didn't have batteries for her elefun game so we went to target real quick. she said potty so we ran to the bathroom. of course i was trying to put paper down on the toilet for her and she thought playing in the sink would be fun. but this led us to peeing in our pants. darn! i thought today was going to be a miraculous day:)
after target i decided to take baby girl to the carousel at bridge street, our awesome outdoor shopping area. and, lucky for us it was being worked on today. no rides for us. but we sat and named all the animals on the ride.
we decided to just walk around bridge street and see the water. ooh, pretty!
but then we found the fountains...when i told her she couldn't play in the fountains she decided that she wanted to press the elevator button. sure, why not?! so off we went down in the elevator... then we rode the escalator back up b/c our car was up:)
get 'em!
kaden is not a big fan of these climbing things, but i asked him to go with her. thankfully he did great up there. thanks buddy.
aww. the family at chuck e cheese minus daddy. she's been asking for him ALOT today.
back home for birthday cake and ice cream. yeah!
yeah. elefun! kaden and rie loved this when they were 2 and 3. now it's christian's turn. of course we got rid of that one a long time ago. funny enough, she thought grabbing the trunk where the butterflies come out:)
