kaden and nana going round and round. apparently kaden said his tummy felt weird, but i think it was the spinning. thankfully no getting sick here! and i'll say even nana looked like she was trying to stay focused too.

rie wanted to ride down the huge slide.

rie also wanted to ride the carousel with christian.

snack time!! boy those kids were thirsty and us mommies were hungry.

ok, here's the deal. we've had fun and loaded up our tummies. now kaden wants to go on this crazy ride. there are 2 baskets on the end of a huge bar. that bar spins in circles and then those baskets twist around at the top and bottom of those circles to make sure you don't go upside down. i'm not so sure about this, but we can do it. right? we get in and i take this quick picture. oops i cut my head off. i try to take another picture, but we jerk and up we go. oh my goodness. aaahhh! oh s#$&. oops, that wasn't supposed to come out. gain composure holley. i close my eyes and take deep breaths. i realize maybe i should check on kaden but i don't want to lose "my zone." but i open my eyes real quick and see him, eyes wide and holding on for dear life. i ask him if he's ok, nothing. i tell him i'm crazy for going on this ride and he's crazy for making me. nothing. i tell him to close his eyes. he closes them for about 2 seconds and opens them back up. guess he's like rob, likes to look at what's about to happen. well we're spinning and going around and then it stops and i know now we have to do all of that backwards. i tell him to hold on we're about to do it again. i just keep talking to him and laughing (that nervous type of laugh, but enough to keep him from realizing my stomach was in my mouth now). well, obviously we survived the ride, but it was crazy.

i really think mom and i laughed at this picture for 20 minutes straight. poor baby boy. but it is so funny!

kaden really wanted to go on the ferris wheel, but someone had to go with him. since i was out of tickets rie was the only other option and she was scared. she decided to go and kaden was happy. but, b/c she was scared he held her hand the entire time they were in line together. so sweet.

once they got started, she enjoyed the ride. i was so proud of her for trying something new and a little bit scary. wasn't so bad after all.
