Every year Camp Comer, a boy scout camp here in AL, hosts Camp Haunted. It's a fun, spooky overnight campout for the boys. Families are invited so we ALL headed out. It was super fun! The kids rode on peddle cars, shot BB guns, went to archery, rode on a haunted hay ride and then we walked through a Trail of Terror. Kade wasn't affected any by the "scary" people. On the other hand, Rie hid her face and rode piggyback on Rob through the walking trail. She even started crying until I told her to close her eyes and sing Hannah Montana. I carried Christian and covered her eyes and sang to her, too. Then, we went and watched some of the older boys and Dads act out some silly skits. We had a late night snack, headed back to our campsite, roasted marshmallows, and racked out. My goodness it was cold though. The girls had to sleep together to stay warm under sleeping bags, 2 quilts, and 3 layers of clothes!! We woke up to a train and revelle, went and had breakfast, did some more activities and headed home. Kaden even earned some belt loops. Wow, he's growing so fast. Not a little boy anymore and we're so proud of him!
