We have finally been inducted to the Pinewood Derby Race family. Rob and Kaden have worked for about a month on their shark car. They were very excited. But, while I was in Atlanta Rob got sick. We didn't think it was much until he couldn't keep any food or liquids in. After 3 days he had lost 10 lbs and was going downhill fast. I had to work so my step-mom took Rob to the Dr. because I didn't trust him to drive. They couldn't figure out what it was and sent him to a lab to have his blood tested. We still aren't sure what was wrong with him, but he wasn't able to take Kade to the registration or race. That was sad:( But, Mommy finally got to see what all the race hype was about....
Kaden wanted a shark car. He helped design, cut, and sand it. Then he painted it. His is the 2nd one from the bottom on the left. I couldn't believe all of these cars!

Well, we had a little trouble with the car. Actually, this nice Grandpa had to actually take apart our wheels, drill some holes, add some extenders and glue it back together at registration because our wheels weren't far enough apart for the track. Needless to say, we had some trouble. The man did a wonderful job, but we had trouble getting down the entire track. Watch our videos this entry. BUT, Kaden did win a prize (watch the other video, too).
