rie's 7th birthday

Well, Rie's birthday was an interesting one. We were so excited it was on a Saturday this year and she could have her party on the actual day. That was right up until the Swine Flu! We couldn't go to school on Thurs or Fri before so we couldn't take her cupcakes, into the freezer they go. The ice rink cancelled her party because kids couldn't congregate in large groups, there goes that. But, we found a way to make due. She woke up at the crack of dawn and of course came to get us. Rob got up and took her to Krispy Kreme, yum! We all got up and had breakfast when they got back. We opened presents, went to swim lessons, had Taco Bell (her choice) for lunch, then rest for a few minutes. And then we were lucky enough to see... drum roll please.... The Hannah Montana movie. Woo hoo. I knew I was really pregnant when I started to tear up at the end. Oh man, not at Hannah Montana. We survived that though. Then, Kaden's baseball game was cancelled, due to swine flu again. Instead we had pizza and cake for dinner. Whew. My stomach didn't know what to do with all that junk food. She used to want chicken, green beans and rice for her birthday dinner. Oh well. It was a great birthday. We will have her birthday party this Saturday and I hope to be better about posting pictures.

someone was upset she couldn't play with the game

raise your hand if you're sure:)
